There’s something special happening in the Minnesota Lynx fan community — and it’s called Los Lynx Nation.
Founded by Nicole Jackson, a passionate Lynx fan, Los Lynx Nation is an independent, fan-driven movement created to bring together Lynx supporters not just across Minneapolis, but across the country, and even internationally. Whether you’re cheering from the upper deck at Target Center, tuning in from your couch, or repping the Lynx abroad, Los Lynx Nation is about creating a shared space to celebrate the team, the players, and the culture of women’s basketball.
At its core, Los Lynx Nation is built on the values of community, inclusivity, and joy. This is a space where longtime fans and newcomers alike can connect, celebrate big wins, survive tough losses, and feel part of something bigger than themselves. Our mission is simple: to amplify the Lynx fan experience and build a movement that mirrors the strength, passion, and resilience of the team we love.
Watch together, wherever you are
The inspiration behind the virtual watch party is deeply personal. As an out-of-state Lynx fan living in California, I (Nicole) don’t have the ability to attend a game live at Target Center or be surrounded by other passionate fans. Like so many others across the country and even abroad, I’ve spent years watching Lynx games from my living room, wishing there was a way to capture that collective game-day experience. That’s where the idea for creating a virtual watch party community was born: to build a space where no matter where you are — near or far — you can plug into the energy, camaraderie, and joy of watching Lynx basketball together.
The vibe of these watch parties is casual, joyful, and inclusive. Imagine the energy of a home game — the cheering, the high-fives, the groans at missed shots — recreated virtually. Fans join from across the country and internationally to chat, react, and celebrate together in real time. It’s not about formal analysis or hot takes; it’s about connection, passion, and building a space where everyone feels welcome.
What makes these watch parties truly special are the interactive elements we weave in. We plan to host halftime contests, trivia, and prize giveaways to keep the energy high and give fans even more reason to tune in.
At its heart, the Los Lynx Nation virtual watch party is about community. It’s about making sure that wherever you are — from a dorm room in St. Paul, to a living room in California, to a couch in Canada for those Bridget Carleton fans — you feel connected to the Lynx family. It’s about creating a space where passion becomes collective, where strangers become friends, and where the Lynx fanbase grows stronger with every game.
Taking the Lynx spirit on the road
If there’s one thing we want the rest of the WNBA to know, it’s this: Lynx fans travel in packs.
With the Los Lynx Nation Travel Club, we’re showing up loud and proud in rival arenas — and making sure the Lynx fanbase leaves its mark wherever the team plays. Much like the fierce animals our team is named after, we believe in strength in numbers. We want to set the tone across the league, sending a clear message that Minnesota fans don’t just show up at home — we represent on the road, too.
For the 2025 season, Los Lynx Nation will be traveling to two marquee away games: the July 12 game vs. the Chicago Sky and the Aug. 2 game vs. the Las Vegas Aces.
We’re also planning a special trip to Miami for the Unrivaled season, ensuring that no matter the location, the Lynx have a fan section in the stands.
But these trips are about so much more than just cheering from the seats. Our goal is to create fun, memorable experiences that bring fans together beyond the arena. Whether you’ve been to Chicago or Vegas before or are visiting for the first time, our trips are designed to combine basketball excitement with local adventure. We organize pre- and postgame meetups so fans can mingle, share their Lynx stories, and build connections that extend beyond game day. And to make the weekends even more unforgettable, we plan group activities like a Chicago boat ride on Lake Michigan or a country bar crawl in Vegas — adding a layer of fun and camaraderie that you simply can’t get from a solo trip.
At its heart, the Travel Club is about forging friendships among fans who may never have crossed paths otherwise. We’re building a community where lifelong Lynx supporters and first-time travelers can bond over a shared love of the game — and return home with new memories, new friendships, and an even deeper connection to the team.
Los Lynx Nation’s travel presence isn’t just about numbers — it’s about showing the WNBA that Minnesota fans are here, we’re united, and we’re ready to roar in every arena we enter.
Prove your W knowledge, win some bragging rights
At Los Lynx Nation, we know that being a fan isn’t just about watching the games — it’s about knowing the game. That’s why our fantasy league is a core part of what we offer, giving fans another way to engage with the WNBA season on a deeper, more interactive level.
We’ve built the league with all kinds of fans in mind — from the newcomers just dipping their toes into fantasy sports to the hardcore strategists chasing stats and trophies. For those wanting a laid-back experience, we offer a free casual league where it’s all about the fun and camaraderie of friendly competition. But for the more competitive fans, we’ve created a $10 buy-in league, with the prize pot split between first, second, and third place — because who doesn’t love a little extra incentive to scout that next breakout star?
What makes this fantasy league special isn’t just the gameplay — it’s the community behind it. Fans connect throughout the season to debate player picks, trade tips, and (of course) talk a little friendly trash. It’s a way for Lynx fans to stay engaged between games, sharpen their basketball IQ, and deepen their connection not just to the Lynx, but to the entire WNBA landscape.
Powered by local love: Join us as a partner
At Los Lynx Nation, we believe that fandom doesn’t just live inside the arena — it lives in the neighborhoods, businesses, and communities that surround it. That’s why building strong, meaningful local partnerships is one of the cornerstones of our mission.
We’re looking to team up with local businesses that share our passion for women’s sports, community-building, and elevating fan experiences. Whether it’s a neighborhood bar, a coffee shop, a local retailer, or an independent media outlet, we want to collaborate in ways that highlight and support both the Lynx community and the local economy.
Our first official partner, A Bar of Their Own — Minnesota’s first all-women’s-sports bar — is already helping set the tone by offering exclusive member discounts on Lynx game days. But this is just the beginning.
We envision partnerships that can include exclusive member discounts or special game day offers, prize sponsorships for our giveaways, co-branded events, like fan meetups, happy hours, or watch parties, social media cross-promotion and features, spotlight features on our website and event announcements.
For local partners, aligning with Los Lynx Nation offers more than just logo placement — it’s about joining a passionate, fast-growing movement of WNBA fans and demonstrating your business’s commitment to women’s sports, inclusion, and community. Our audience is diverse, loyal, and deeply engaged — and they care about supporting the businesses that support their team.
As Los Lynx Nation continues to grow, we want our partners right there with us, helping shape the next era of Lynx fandom and creating unforgettable experiences for our members.
If you’re a local business ready to help champion this movement, we’d love to talk.
